How to Extract Pages from a PDF (Free Online, Any Device)

Extract specific pages from a PDF and save them as a new document. Enter page numbers or ranges β€” free, no software, no signup.

Why Extract Specific Pages from a PDF?

Extracting pages is useful in many situations:

  • You received a 50-page report and only need pages 12–18
  • You want to share one chapter from a combined document
  • You need to separate a signature page from a contract
  • You want to pull specific slides from a PDF presentation

Instead of deleting everything you do not need, extract exactly what you want.

How to Extract PDF Pages on Breklo

1. Go to Breklo's Extract PDF Pages tool

2. Upload your PDF

3. Enter the pages you want to extract (e.g. `1, 4, 7-12`)

4. Click Extract Pages

5. A new PDF containing only those pages downloads immediately

Page range syntax:

  • `3` β€” extracts just page 3
  • `1,5,9` β€” extracts pages 1, 5 and 9
  • `3-8` β€” extracts pages 3 through 8
  • `1,4,7-10` β€” extracts pages 1, 4 and 7 through 10

Extract vs Delete vs Split

All three tools work with specific pages, but differently:

ToolWhat it does
**Extract pages**Keep specified pages, discard the rest
**Delete pages**Remove specified pages, keep the rest
**Split PDF**Split every page into its own file, or extract a range

Extract is the most direct tool when you know exactly which pages you need.

Frequently asked questions

How do I extract a single page from a PDF?

Enter just the page number in the pages field. For example, "5" extracts only page 5 as a new single-page PDF.

Can I extract non-consecutive pages?

Yes. Use comma-separated page numbers: "1,4,7" extracts pages 1, 4 and 7 into one new PDF.

Will the extracted pages keep their original quality?

Yes. Pages are copied directly without re-rendering. All text, images and formatting are preserved exactly.

What is the difference between extracting and splitting?

Extracting creates one new PDF with your chosen pages. Splitting can create individual files for every page, or also extract a range.

Is there a page limit?

No. You can extract pages from PDFs of any length.

Can I extract pages from a password-protected PDF?

The PDF needs to be unlocked first. Remove the password, then extract the pages you need.
